Two. Overview

Horizontal grinding mill is a continuous production grinding and dispersing machine with horizontal cylinder, which is used to grind dispersed solid/liquid suspension.

Dispersion Principle of Shanghai Horizontal Sand Mill: The main motor drives the dispersing shaft to move at high speed by a triangular belt, and the dispersing disk drives the grinding medium to move on the dispersing shaft, which produces friction and shear force to grind and disperse the material. The mechanical seal is adopted to make the equipment fully sealed, thus eliminating the loss of solvent evaporation in production and reducing environmental pollution. On the other hand, the air is prevented from entering the working cylinder and the dry consolidation crust formed in the production process is avoided.

Three. Part introduction

1. Sealing and lubrication: The mechanical seal adopts open water circulation cooling to avoid excessive heat and excessive wear caused by blocking caused by slight leakage in the closed cycle.

2. Grinding cylinder: all cylinders in this series are made of stainless steel. Because of its good wear resistance and corrosion resistance, it has expanded the scope of application of this series of products. Jacket cooling can be carried out by circulating cooling or direct cooling with tap water.

3. Grinding shaft assembly

A specially designed grinding disc is installed on the grinding shaft of the top horizontal grinding machine, which is fastened on the grinding shaft with bushes and twin nuts. When the grinding disc is assembled on the dispersing shaft, attention should be paid to the direction of rotation and the matching assembly to ensure the ideal effect of continuous dispersion; in addition, in order to make full use of the abrasive disc which has been worn (the degree of wear is not high). It can change the assembly position when cleaning, disassembling and assembling, but it still needs to ensure the matching position.

4. Discharge system

The machine uses sieve ring to discharge material. The sieve ring has a number of holes in the axial direction (i. E. discharge gap). The sieve has a larger discharge area and can limit the medium overflow. The sieve ring is made of wear-resistant steel with high hardness and high service life; a pressure gauge is installed at the inlet and a thermometer is installed at the outlet.

5. Pressure gauge and grinding medium loading:

When this machine installs grinding medium, it can first unload the feeding joint, load the hopper, and load the medium which has been weighed beforehand from this outlet. Most of the medium will flow into the barrel. The surplus can be slightly turned into the main motor to import. Because the medium is dry at this time, it can not start the main engine to prevent the medium from being broken.  Loading quality is required according to technical parameters, overload is overload, and efficiency is low.  The grinding medium of Shanghai horizontal sand mill is zirconia beads.

6. When the grinding medium needs to be replaced or other reasons need to release the medium, unload the screw in front of the end cap to release the medium, and tighten the release valve during operation.

In order to change color in production, we can consider from shallow to deep. After grinding a batch of materials, a suitable amount of slurry can be put into the cylinder and pumped into the cylinder for circulation. At the same time, slightly start the dispersing shaft for intermittent rotation, and finally through the solvent for cleaning. After cleaning, the slurry should be kept in a part of the cylinder, if the cylinder does not retain a certain solution, the medium will condense in the cylinder, resulting in difficulties in the next operation.

7. Frame

The frame is a steel welded component that fixes and supports the main engine, feeding pump, cylinder, electrical box and other components, stable and reliable, compact structure.
