The requirements for heavy oil emulsification in equipment are also an important part of the emulsification effect, especially in the selection of emulsifiers. Heavy oil has high viscosity, poor fluidity and certain corrosiveness, so the requirements for the emulsifier are relatively high. Due to the high speed operation of the emulsifier, the rotating stator is most likely to wear and corrode, and its material must be stainless steel grades above 304. During the operation of the emulsifier, due to long-term operation, the motor load is very large for high-viscosity heavy oil. Therefore, it is not possible to select the conventional power when selecting the type, and the motor power should be considered to be increased. More than two grades, specifically a conventional 7.5 kW motor, should use 15 kW. Only in this way can the motor not be overloaded for a long time and the motor life can be effectively guaranteed.
