A high shear emulsifier is a process in which one or more phases (liquids, solids, gases) are efficiently, rapidly and evenly transferred into another incompatible continuous phase (usually a liquid). Because of the high tangential velocity generated by the rotor's high speed and the strong kinetic energy caused by the high frequency mechanical effect, the material can be subjected to strong mechanical and hydraulic shear, centrifugal extrusion, liquid layer friction, impact tear and turbulence in the narrow gap between the stator and the rotor, thus forming suspension liquid (solid / liquid), emulsion (liquid / liquid). And foam (gas / liquid). So that the insoluble solid phase, liquid phase and gas phase in the corresponding process and additives under the joint action of the average fine homogeneous emulsification, through high-frequency repetition, and ultimately stable high-quality products. The application range of high shear emulsifier is widely related to food, medicine, chemical industry and other fields. The factors affecting the results of high shear emulsification are as follows: the form of the emulsified head (batch and continuous) (continuous better than batch), the shear rate of the emulsified head, (bigger, better), the tooth structure of the emulsified head (divided into primary teeth, middle teeth, fine teeth, superfine teeth, the better the effect of about fine teeth), the material in The residence time of the emulsifier chamber, the emulsification dispersion time (can be regarded as an equal motor, the smaller the flow, the better the effect), the number of cycles of emulsification (the more the effect, the better the effect, to the deadline of the equipment, can not be better). Linear velocity calculation: shear rate V = r_, r for stator diameter, _for angular velocity = 2 pi R / T can be known from above, shear rate depends on the following factors: rotor diameter, rotor speed. From the above point of view, the speed and the precision of the emulsion head determine the emulsifying effect. The high rotational speed and shear rate of the ultra-high speed dispersing homogeneous emulsifier are the most important for obtaining ultra-fine suspension. The shear rate of ultra-high speed shear emulsifier can exceed 6000-20000rpm, and the speed of rotor can reach 66m/s. In this range of speed, turbulence caused by shear force combined with specially developed motor can make the particle size range to nanometer scale. The shear strength is stronger, and the particle distribution of emulsion is narrower. Because the energy density is very high, no other auxiliary dispersing equipment is needed, it can reach the ordinary high-pressure homogenizer under 400 BAR pressure particle size. Emulsion head (a set of rotor and stator) in addition, the design of the emulsifier is also very good to meet the different viscosity of the material and particle size needs. The design of the working heads of the on-line stator and rotor (emulsifier) and batch emulsifier is mainly due to the requirement of conveyance, while the requirement of the on-line emulsifier for conveyance is relatively low. In particular, it should be noted that the difference between the coarse precision, moderate precision, fine precision and some other types of working head is not only the arrangement of the rotor teeth, but also an important difference is that the geometrical characteristics of different working heads are different. The number of slots, the width of slots and other geometric characteristics can change the different functions of stator and rotor head. According to past experience, assign a working head to satisfy a specific application. In most cases, the construction of the machine matches the specific application, so it is important to produce the final product.  When it is uncertain whether the construction of a working head meets the expected application, it is recommended to carry out experiments in the laboratory to verify.
