Scraper fineness gauge is a flat steel block which has grooves on surface. the depth of the groove varies from maximum on one end to zero on the other end .

One or more of the groove depth scales are marked on the steel block to display the size of measured particles. It's designed to meet the GB / T 1724-89, GB/T6753.1-86, and ISO1524-83 standards.It is used to measure size and degree of dispersion of particles in pigment or impurity of paint pulp, ink and other liquid and other slurry .
